Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Myers, FL, for an Experienced Construction/Commercial Litigation Attorney. Responsibilities include drafting legal motions, representing clients in courts, conducting and defending depositions, handling trial preparation, and participating in court proceedings. The attorney will work closely with clients to provide exceptional legal counsel and develop case strategies for construction and commercial litigation matters.
Qualifications- Proficiency in legal principles, including construction law and commercial law
- Experience with drafting and submitting motions
- Knowledge of court procedures and confidence in courtroom representation
- Skilled in handling trials and presenting comprehensive legal arguments
- Proven experience in conducting and defending depositions
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the Florida Bar
- Relevant experience in construction and commercial litigation cases is essential
