Job Type: Contract – 5-6 months and can extend
Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for a Windows-based corporate environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring end-users can operate efficiently within a Microsoft infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first- and second-level technical support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices
- Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, One Drive)
- Administer user accounts and permissions in Active Directory
- Support and maintain Microsoft Exchange (on-premises or Exchange Online)
- Perform system imaging, deployment, and patch management
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi)
- Configure and support printers, scanners, and other office peripherals
- Maintain endpoint security solutions including antivirus and endpoint protection tools
- Document support requests, resolutions, and IT procedures in ticketing systems
- Assist with IT asset management and inventory tracking
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or third-party vendors when necessary
- 1+ years of experience supporting Windows-based environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account administration
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with remote support tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
