POSITION: Associate Cloud Architect

WORKSITE: 12800 University Drive, Suite 410, Fort Myers, FL 33907 (Position based out of and reports to Fort Myers office: May WFH 100% remotely and telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.)

OFFERED SALARY: $ per year

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures that align with business and technical objectives. Execute architectural services such as discovery, assessments, and long-term strategic planning. Create and manage architectural documentation, ensuring clarity and maintainability for teams and stakeholders.

Define and enforce system quality attributes such as performance, reliability, extensibility, and fault tolerance. Evaluate and select suitable technology stacks, frameworks, and tools to ensure long-term sustainability. Drive proof-of-concept initiatives to validate architectural strategies and explore emerging technologies. Facilitate architecture and design reviews to assess compliance with technical quality standards, identify risks, and validate business.

Facilitate the cooperation of all the stakeholders to define and prioritize architectural drivers for the solution. Translate customers' functional and non-functional business requirements into high-quality solution design visions and operations plans consistent with enterprise architectural standards using Attribute Driven Design. Define cloud infrastructure solution design strategies, standards, processes, technologies, and tools in the technical visions.

Drive or assist in project implementation estimation and roadmap construction. Analyze, model, document, and assess existing solution architectures according to the Architecture Trade-off Analysis methodology. Act as an expert and monitor engineering teams in adherence to best practices in cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and testing.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or a closely related field and (6) years of experience in a related occupation with the following:

• Applying advanced architectural principles such as microservices, SOA, and event-driven designs to create scalable systems.
• Optimizing development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing integration.
• Designing high-performance systems with techniques such as load balancing, caching, and resource optimization.
• Implementing data management strategies such as partitioning, query optimization, and secure storage to ensure scalability.
• Conducting architecture assessments and discovery phases using AWS Well-Architected Framework (WAR), Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), and Migration Readiness Assessment (MRA).

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
