Network Architect​/Network Integration Consultant – hybrid Revel IT

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect / Network Integration Consultant to provide localized support for our Tampa and Fort Myers data center environments. This role will play a critical part in supporting a recent acquisition and ensuring continuity of business operations while assisting with network separation, migration, and potential decommissioning activities. On-site travel required; approximately once per week initially, decreasing as the engagement progresses.

The candidate would have fluency or at least knowledge of the following:

• Core, distribution, and access switching
• Routing (BGP/static)
• Fortigate Firewalls
• F5 Load Balancing
• VLANs
• IP addressing
• Microsoft DNS
• Microsoft DHCP
• The ideal candidate will quickly understand the existing network infrastructure, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and Radnet, and act as the primary technical point of contact for the acquired company

• Serve as the primary network contact for the client acquisition
• Partner with Radnet to assess and integrate newly acquired network assets
• Ensure continuity of existing business operations during transition activities
• Analyze current network architecture and dependencies across data center environments
• Support planning and execution of network separation, migration, and/or decommissioning efforts
• Provide hands‑on and architectural guidance for switching, firewall, and load‑balancing technologies
• Coordinate and perform on‑site support at Tampa and Fort Myers locations as needed
• Document network configurations, dependencies, and transition plans
• Collaborate with internal teams to minimize risk and downtime during network changes

• Strong expertise in core, distribution, and access layer switching
• Routing experience including BGP and static routing
• Hands‑on experience with Fortigate Firewalls
• Experience with F5 Load Balancing
• Solid understanding of:
  • VLANs
  • IP addressing and subnetting
  • Microsoft DNS
  • Microsoft DHCP
• Ability to quickly assess, understand, and troubleshoot existing network environments

• Network Architect-level experience with mergers, acquisitions, or network separation projects
• Comfortable working in data center environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and organizations
• Self‑directed and able to operate independently in a contract role
