Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $36.69 - $47.70 / hour
SummaryThe Health Improvement & Impact Specialist is responsible for developing and monitoring training programs, resource groups and other strategic initiatives that foster a strong sense of belonging among team members. The specialist maintains influential partnerships with key stakeholders like Human Resources, Strategy & Innovation, Legal, Government Relations and Compliance to support team members.
This position reports to the System Director Health Improvement and Impact.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or similar).
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (or advancing a culture of belonging), including working with multidisciplinary teams to implement initiatives. Strong background in training development and facilitation, and policy interpretation.
- Certification: Advanced Human Resources or Diversity, Equity and Inclusion certification preferred.

- Advanced experience developing and facilitating programs that enhance cultural competency and address social barriers to health
- Strong project management capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize, track, and report on multiple initiatives
- Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills and ability to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Ability to use Microsoft Office platforms, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and health equity regulations
- Experience with employee resource groups (ERGs) or diversity-focused initiatives in healthcare and/or large organizations
- Ability to adapt strategies in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment
