HR Business Partner – One Oncology

Join One Oncology, a patient‑centric, physician‑driven, technology‑powered organization that is positioning community oncologists to drive the future of cancer care.

Job Description

The HR Business Partner works closely with HR leadership to deploy strategies and initiatives in support of the organization’s goals. Responsibilities include daily strategic guidance on employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, policy creation, employee engagement, benefit communication, and onboarding/offboarding. The role supports West Coast and Central Florida, is based out of Sarasota to Ft. Myers, and requires weekly travel to clinic locations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with leaders to understand and execute the organization’s people strategy.
  • Support Talent Acquisition in interview participation and onboarding logistics.
  • Work closely with employees and leaders to build morale, improve relationships, and increase retention and productivity.
  • Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive measures.
  • Assist in administering employee engagement initiatives.
  • Identify training needs, including career pathing and skills development.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances, oversee corrective actions and terminations.
  • Conduct exit interviews and share findings with HR and practice leadership.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and communicate policy, benefits, pay, and compliance information.
  • Work with third‑party leave vendor to administer leave of absences including FMLA and ADA accommodations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide managerial support, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of HR Business Partner experience.
  • Broad knowledge of HR industry practices with generalist experience in employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment, and talent development.
  • Workday experience strongly preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Ability to regularly travel within assigned region, including occasional overnight travel.
