Clerical position, responsible for effective scheduling, coding, verifying insurance, and/or obtaining necessary pre-certification/authorization for surgical procedures, utilizing computer scheduling software in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Interacts with physicians, patients, families, and department staff to meet identified needs.
