Daytime Caregiver – Fort Myers

Overview

Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life. This is an independent contract position and pays $15.00 per hour.

Position details: flexible schedule to support a 51-year-old man in daily living activities. The caregiver should be kind-hearted and patient, able to accompany him to community activities such as shopping, movies, dining out or bowling. He enjoys collecting items, stitching, using his iPad, and puzzles.

Location:

Fort Myers, FL

• Encourage and support daily living activities at home
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensure safety and maintain a clean, safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying the individual to social events and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

• Pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide 1 year of caregiving experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s license
• 18 years of age or older
