Medical Office Manager - Fort Myers

The role of a Medical Office Manager in Fort Myers is critical for the efficient operation of healthcare facilities. As a key player in the organization, you will oversee the daily administrative functions of a medical office while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This position not only demands strong leadership skills but also a keen understanding of the medical industry, as you will be responsible for managing both personnel and patient interactions.

This role 100% requires a multilingual Spanish/English speaker.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the medical office, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient patient service.
  • Manage office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain medical records with accuracy and confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Manage billing and coding processes in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues effectively and compassionately.
  • Monitor inventory of medical supplies and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring office expenses.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and operational processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a medical office environment, with at least 2-5 years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in medical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
