Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $20.04 – $25.05 / hour
The Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist provides credentialing/privileging and re-credentialing services supportive to the credentialing functions for the Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Providers. Processes initial applications and reappointment applications for Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Providers in accordance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and Credentialing Policies and Procedures as assigned by the Director, Centralized Credentialing Services. Performs credentialing verifications;
notifies new applicants of available dates for orientation/EPIC training, monitors expirables (licensure; DEA, insurance, certifications); maintains assigned practitioner data, in medical staff credentialing software and EPIC systems and supports other M.S.S. responsibilities and activities as requested.

- Education:
High school or equivalent required. - Experience:
At least one year experience in credentialing. - License: N/A
- Certifications:
N/A - Other: CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) certification required within two years of eligibility.
