SummaryThe surgical technologist II functions in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse. Able to prioritize, organize and implement care of the surgical patient in a variety of specialties. Performs call obligations as assigned.
Requirements- Education:High School graduate or equivalent, and graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists or accredited vocational school of nursing.
- Experience:No experience required.
- Certification:BLS (Basic Life Support) through the AHA (American Heart Association) required. CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) through the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) preferred.
