Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $30.27 - $40.86 / hour
SummaryThe Quality and Safety Investigator I role is integral to the identification of quality and patient safety opportunities that exist within the Lee Health organization. This role supports the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement department by investigating reported events and quality performance opportunities, with consideration of current evidence-based practice and generally accepted practice standards. The Quality and Safety Investigator I utilizes patient safety methodology to review, investigate, and classify occurrences and event taxonomy.
This role also provides insight regarding identified trends and improvement opportunities related to care delivery, in alignment with Lee Healths Fair and Just Culture and Lee Healths strategic priorities.
Education:
Associate degree required. Bachelors degree in nursing preferred.
Experience:
Minimum three (3) years of experience providing care in a clinical healthcare setting required. Critical Care experience preferred.
License:
Registered Nurse License
Certifications:
CPPS, CPHQ, or CRM preferred.
Other:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking ability. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities. Accepts flexible schedule.
