Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida is a state‑of‑the‑art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. The 135‑bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami.
Golisano provides a variety of specialized services for our community’s children ranging from emergency and behavioral health care to surgery, critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. It also houses a 16‑bed PICU and a 70‑bed NICU with 24‑hour in‑house Neonatology coverage.

Position InformationLee Health – Lee Physician Groups Pediatric Behavioral Health at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida is seeking multiple full‑time Licensed Psychologists. The psychologists will provide evidence‑based outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, young adults, and families ages 5 to 21. Common presenting concerns include sleep disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD and motor disorders), anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, suicidal ideation/self‑harm, feeding/eating disorders (e.g., ARFID and anorexia nervosa), somatic symptom disorders, disruptive/impulse‑control disorders (e.g., ODD), and trauma disorders (e.g., adjustment disorder and PTSD).
Positions are available in Estero, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. New locations in Naples and Cape Coral are opening in 2025.
- Standardized assessment of cognitive, executive, social, emotional, and/or behavioral functioning.
- Evidence‑based treatment modalities in individual, family, and/or group formats based on diagnostics.
- Crisis management and safety planning.
- Collaboration with other health professionals.
- Care coordination with schools.
- Education outreach in the community.
- Ph.D. or Psy.
D. from an APA accredited doctoral program with completion of an APA accredited internship in counseling, school, or clinical psychology. - 1‑year post‑doctoral training under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
- Strong practice of evidence‑based assessment and treatment, including diagnostic interview, standardized measures, conceptualization, diagnostic impressions, interventions, and interprofessional collaboration.
