About our Rehabilitation Team:Our Rehabilitation Services team is one of the largest and most dynamic in the region. With over 700 skilled professionals dedicated to helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through comprehensive, compassionate care. Our licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists work closely with medical teams to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients unique needs. Beyond core therapy services, we offer a variety of specialty programs including neurological rehabilitation, vestibular and balance therapy, lymphedema management, pelvic health therapy, and oncology rehabilitation.
With services spanning acute care, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient settings, our team delivers exceptional, evidence-based care that restores function and enhances quality of life.
We offer Physical Therapy Services at the following locations:
Acute Care:Our acute care rehabilitation teams provide intensive, short-term therapy to help patients recover quickly from illness, injury, or surgery. Physical, occupational, and speech-language pathologists collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered, goal-driven care, focusing on early mobilization, functional recovery, and safe transitions to home or the next level of care. Our 5 acute care hospitals include Lee Memorial Hospital, Cape Coral Hospital, Gulf Coast Medical Center (Level II Trauma Center), Healthpark Medical Center, and Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida (Level III NICU).
Outpatient:At our 14 outpatient locations, our physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists provide specialized, evidence-based care for patients recovering from injury, illness, or surgery, or managing chronic conditions. We treat a wide range of diagnoses, from orthopedic and neurological conditions to stroke, cardiac and pulmonary challenges, and speech or swallowing impairments.
