Overview
Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa is looking for a full-time Spa Massage Therapist. We are currently looking for a passionate, talented massage therapist for our high-end spa and clientele. The job is part-time with the opportunity to become full time. Must have an active Florida Massage License.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Provides excellent service for guests by maintaining the Marriott Brand standards.
- Understands and uses universal precautions when providing services.
- Reviews Health History forms carefully and assesses contraindications of the guest that may prevent service from taking place.
- Maintains the highest level of industry knowledge and has a complete understanding of all spa services, products, and retail.
- Performs all treatments on the service menu based on current certifications.
- Suggest to guests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa and salon. Recommend products for home use.
- Begins and ends all treatments on time. Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Work assigned schedule or coordinate coverage by completing ‘shift coverage’ forms.
- Must arrive on time for their assigned shifts. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
- Ensures that work areas are clean and set according to procedures. Responsible for setting up treatment area, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all equipment, treatment room & linens for service use on a daily basis. The provider's break room should be cleaned weekly.
- Inform the Lead Provider Supervisor of product needs. All orders must be given by the 1 st of the month.
- Report any incident or accident to the Spa Supervisors or Spa Director.
- Understand the ingredients in products and can explain their benefits to the guests. Answer guest’s questions knowledgeably and professionally.
- Work closely with therapists, support staff, and leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Complete other duties assigned by the Spa Director
- Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
- Part-Time with the opportunity to become Full Time

- One year experience preferred but not required. Willing to train.
