We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Controller to join our growing team. This position will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of our organization by overseeing financial procedures, auditing processes, and budget preparations. Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as statements and budget performance.
- Ensure compliance with law and company’s policies.
- Manage journal entries, invoices, etc., and reconcile accounts for monthly or annual closing.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts.
- Participate in preparation for the annual audit.
- Help develop reports for management or regulatory bodies.
- Review accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances.
- Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records.
- Streamline accounting procedures by researching and implementing new software applications.
- Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable procedures ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CMA certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role focusing on accounting and finance.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of Quick Books and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with thorough attention to detail.
- Exceptional leadership skills – prior management experience is not required.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
- Outstanding problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
