In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide engineering and construction related senior project management and technical oversight of planning, design, analyses, and studies for Heavy Civil projects particularly Dams, Hydropower, and Mining projects.
• Function as engineering manager supporting project and pursuit teams on Dams and other Heavy Civil projects.
• Supervise or advise multi‑discipline engineering staff on projects of medium to high complexity. Provide senior independent review and quality assurance review of Dams, Hydropower, and Mining projects.
• Support business development for Dams and other Heavy Civil projects.

• Support geotechnical and Heavy Civil Business Line projects including Dams, Mining, and Hydro Practice Pursuits.
• Manage and mentor junior staff and review lower‑level engineering work or assignments.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work for an assigned portion of a major project or the total project of moderate scope.
• Regularly and actively participate in regional business development calls.
• Develop and implement a strategy of focused communications with clients and competitors.
• Actively work with BV management to identify, develop, coordinate, and implement major business pursuits and growth strategies.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and mentoring the Dams Group staff.
• Develop contacts and perform business development activities with key existing and potential clients.
• Lead major proposal efforts and delegate/review smaller project proposals.

• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Business.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements for dams and hydropower clients.

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in Engineering work.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
• Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries, and supports where necessary.
