Engineer III - Water​/Wastewater; Myers

CPH is a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. CPH is seeking a talented Engineer III to join their dynamic water/wastewater team at our Ft. Myers, FL location.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects.
• Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper completion.
• Lead design and preparation of plans, specifications, and calculations for pipeline, lift station, and Water/Wastewater treatment system components.
• Work with senior staff to identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies if needed.
• Ensure that all aspects of the project’s safety comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, schedules, and status updates.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper management and clients.

• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software platforms.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Ability to exercise critical thinking and independent judgement.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
• Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
• Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental).
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, in one or more of the following: pipeline, lift station, Water/Wastewater treatment design.
• P.E. license.

• The work environment is a professional office environment. The person in this role will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, and filing cabinets.

• The person in this position may require sitting or standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds.
