Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and orthopedic surgical treatment skills.
  • Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
  • Adheres, contributes, and develops clinical patient pathways to ensure a standardized approach to pediatric surgical medicine.
  • Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary surgical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff, and hospital.
  • Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and medical necessity
  • Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty including on-call schedule.
  • Preferred focus in upper extremity, hand, hip and neuromuscular conditions

  • MD or DO

  • Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA
