Lee Physician Group (LPG) – Gastroenterology is seeking a full‑time, board‑eligible or board‑certified gastroenterologist with formal fellowship training in interventional gastroenterology to join a high‑volume, dynamic group of 15 physicians and 19 advanced practice providers in Fort Myers, Florida. The ideal candidate will have interest in inpatient general gastroenterology with dedicated focus on interventional procedures, including ERCP, EUS, and advanced tissue resection.

Additional training or experience in third‑space endoscopy—such as POEM, G‑POEM, or STER—is welcomed but not required.

This position is structured within a hybrid inpatient/outpatient model and is fully supported on the inpatient side by a dedicated GI hospitalist team. As such, there is no requirement for emergency room call coverage, allowing for better work‑life balance and procedural focus. The practice is equipped with advanced endoscopy suites, comprehensive anesthesia support, and a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and subspecialty development.
