Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, specific to your area, to solve issues and improve the guest experience
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
• Understand and show guests how to use Target App features including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Handle returns and follow register prompts; partner with immediate Leaders as needed while following Target policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area; gather unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal
• Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) orders, DU returns and maintain compliance with applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs
