💰 $130,000 – $175,000 (based on experience)
A leading commercial general contractor in Southwest Florida is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial construction projects across a diverse portfolio.
This established general contractor delivers projects in healthcare, higher education, industrial/warehouse, commercial, multi-family residential, retail, food service/dining, financial, governmental, self-storage, and LEED-certified facilities
.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple commercial construction projects ranging from $5M–$20M and will be comfortable leading projects from preconstruction through completion.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout
- Read and interpret construction documents, contracts, and specifications
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project
- Negotiate, award, and manage subcontracts
- Prepare and review subcontractor scopes of work
- Track and manage RFIs, submittals, cost reports, and change orders
- Assist with project estimating and material take-offs
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes
- Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality expectations
- 5–8+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
- Experience managing multiple projects valued between $5M–$20M
- Project experience in one or more of the following sectors:
- Industrial / Warehouse
- Public / Government
- Multi-Family Residential
- Retail / Commercial
- Strong ability to lead projects from concept through completion
- Proficiency with:
- Procore
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
- Experience preparing material take-offs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
