Rycon’s portfolio includes projects in healthcare, higher education, industrial/warehouse, commercial, multi‑unit residential, food service/dining, retail, financial, self‑storage, governmental, and LEED facilities. We have an in‑house Architectural Woodwork & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent at our Ft. Myers office.

• Prepare and communicate project schedules; provide ongoing updates to Project Management.
• Coordinate daily activities for subcontractors and ensure work aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
• Manage subcontractor workflow and develop work plans.
• Lead daily standups, weekly trade meetings, and participate in OAC meetings.
• Monitor safety compliance and lead initiatives to maintain an injury‑free environment.
• Track and report project costs; review cost reports for accuracy.
• Maintain documentation systems, including drawings, logs, and inspection records.
• Oversee quality control through specifications and QA/QC processes.
• Support project closeout activities and coordinate punch lists with stakeholders.
• Review and approve submittals, RFIs, and ensure permits and inspections are completed.

• Minimum 10+ years of construction experience, with 5+ years in field supervision.
• Proven leadership on projects $10MM+; experience with Lean principles preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts, and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; scheduling software experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred;
  High School Diploma or GED required.
