A highly-regarded commercial general contractor is seeking a Healthcare Superintendent to join its leadership team. This is a pivotal career opportunity for a results-driven professional dedicated to overseeing the day-to-day execution of complex commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Management & Safety:
  Directly oversee all construction activities, rigorously enforcing strict safety protocols to maintain a secure, incident-free work environment.
• Subcontractor Coordination:
  Expertly manage and coordinate all subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to the master project schedule.
• Project Oversight:
  Continuously monitor progress, provide regular updates to the Project Manager, and proactively address potential delays or issues to keep the project on track.
• Quality Control:
  Conduct frequent, thorough quality inspections to ensure all workmanship meets the highest standards and fully complies with contract documents and building codes.
• Leadership & Communication:
  Foster a positive and productive working atmosphere, mentor site personnel, and serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Documentation & Planning:
  Accurately interpret all project drawings and specifications, effectively manage on-site conflicts, and coordinate with the Project Manager on project budgets and cost controls.

Key

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent specifically in the Healthcare construction industry on projects valued at $2M+.
• In-depth knowledge of ACHA (Agency for Health Care Administration) requirements.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with a talent for motivating and managing diverse teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and a sharp attention to detail.
• OSHA certification and a strong commitment to upholding rigorous safety standards.
