FINISH GRADER Operatorcrew LEADER

Seaton Paving & Sitework Inc is seeking an experienced self‑motivated Finish Grader Operator to help run our dirt crew. The Finish Grader/Crew Leader is pivotal in overseeing our projects from start to finish. Must have Experience! This is not an entry level position!

• Can Do Attitude and good work ethic.
• Experienced finish grader.
• Supervise/direct crew members in proper techniques and practices required to complete work safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Excellent communication skills. Capable of following directions from management on job completion. Also communicate objectives to our crew.
• Read and interpret plans/specifications to complete work in accordance with requirements. Measure using methods such as string line, measuring tapes or laser level.
• Observe safety procedures and report any potential unsafe conditions to management.
• Good knowledge of traffic and safety rules and regulations.
• Thorough knowledge and working understanding of how to calculate and track daily quantities pertaining to all types of materials including base rock and fill.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and at the end of shift. Maintain equipment. Report any equipment issues to management.
• When not operating motorized equipment, work as a laborer or semi‑skilled laborer as assigned.
• Work outdoors in Florida environment.
• Ability to accept responsibility.
• Physically able to perform duties.

• Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience with a solid working knowledge of excavation.
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Must have a valid FL driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Good attendance and safety record.

Compensation:
Based Upon Skill - Above Industry Standards
