• Test systems and components to ensure security and proper operation
• Isolate potential causes of problems
• Drive vehicles for testing, inspect, and refill fluids as needed
• Ensure proper tire pressure, clean and lubricate fittings
• Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicate oil levels
• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately
• Replace worn parts proactively to prevent breakdowns
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks

• Deep understanding of automobiles and diagnostic skills
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology, procedures, and specifications
• Operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred)
• At least one year in a service department
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
