Job DescriptionThe Scheduling Expeditor is responsible for field and vendor schedule adherence and all scheduling tasks of the division to support resource planning activities.
Responsibilities- Expedite and prioritize resource schedules and maintain schedule templates for the division.
- Provide real‑time support to the field for re‑schedules.
- Monitor schedules and communicate delays while working with trade partners to resolve scheduling issues.
- Monitor Build Pro/Supply Pro usage and take proactive measures to ensure division‑wide compliance.
- Support, troubleshoot, and maintain Build Pro/Supply Pro systems.
- Assist permits coordinator with all Build Pro/Supply Pro document entry and SOPs.
- Participate with the Construction Scheduling Manager in all defect/recordable tracking and scheduling of trade partner process improvement plan meetings.
- Perform field audits to ensure scheduling process is working and quality is being delivered.
- Work with trade partners to verify their capacity and ensure no over‑booking leading to bottlenecks or missed tasks.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the construction industry.
- Preferred experience as a construction manager or equivalent role.
- Professional attitude to represent the company positively.
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
- Valid auto insurance coverage.
- Advanced PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and JD Edwards.
- Excellent follow‑up, written and verbal communication, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to perform multiple detail‑oriented tasks with little oversight.
- Good understanding of the construction process and how scheduled tasks interact.
This is primarily a sedentary office position requiring the incumbent to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
