Qualifications:

• Valid Kentucky Teaching Certification for area and grade level of assignment.
• Such alternatives to the above qualification as the Board may deem appropriate and acceptable.

Create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth, to establish effective rapport with students; to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to achieve and grow in their education; to establish good relationships with parents/guardians and staff. Other relevant duties as assigned.

This position requires a national and state background check on all new hires in the school district. A letter from the Cabinet of Health and Family Services stating that there is no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect on record is also required.
