Staff Accountant

Description

Growing Northern Kentucky company is seeking a staff accountant. The staff accountant will assist with the month-end close. A plus would be a knowledge of the general ledger and journal entries. The staff accountant will also help with reconciliation of cash and balance sheet accounts.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Familiarity with corporate tax processes and regulations.

- Experience with general ledger and journal entry preparation is preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting tools and practices.
