As the Business Development Associate (BDA), you will drive financial advisor lead flow to LPL’s Advisor Recruiting team to increase sales. Your responsibilities include prospecting, lead qualification, and effective reporting. Primary prospecting efforts will be phone‑based (cold‑calling) with supplemental digital outreach (email campaigns and social media). If you want to learn and grow with us, this is the role for you.
Successful BDAs are promoted to Internal Regional Director (IRD) roles and can later advance to Regional Director (RD) roles.
- Prospect financial advisors to gauge/create interest in meeting with an LPL recruiter.
- Use the news cycle, territory makeup, and leadership direction to execute weekly prospecting campaigns.
- Apply independent judgment to qualify a lead, determining whether to introduce it to the pipeline by presenting to the IRD or field RD.
- Make 100 outreaches per day – cold calls (primary), individual emails, and social media outreaches (Linked In).
- Utilize to track individual KPIs and understand the impact of lead flow on the territory funnel and results.
- Develop skillset, knowledge base, and industry experience to qualify for the next level opportunity as an Internal Regional Director.

Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related areas.
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, field recruiting professionals, and internal recruiters.
- Must be in office 3 days a week (Tuesday–Thursday).
- Highly motivated and resilient by consistently achieving sales targets.
- Ability to quickly build rapport, primarily via phone communication.
- Comfortable with some travel, two times per year for training.
- Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Salesforce, and MS Outlook.
- Experience or understanding of broker/dealers, advisory, finance, or sales principles.

Pay Range$25.24–$42.07 per hour. The pay salary range includes base salary and potential sales incentive compensation based on the applicable incentive compensation plan for this position. Base salary is determined by factors including relevant skill, prior experience, education, peer comparison, performance, and geographic location. Incentive compensation depends on achievement of goals set forth in the incentive compensation plan.
