Sr. Continuous Improvement Engineer I – Shutterfly

Join us at Shutterfly, a leading brand in self‑expression and moments capture, to drive operational excellence on the production floor of our Fort Mill, SC facility. This onsite role may require up to 20% travel.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction and waste elimination.
• Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Teach, lead, and coach cross‑functional teams on Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• Collaborate with functions such as logistics and merchandising to continuously improve both floor and transactional processes.

• Define program objectives, scope, and success criteria.
• Prioritize potential improvements based on gains and effort.
• Secure employee commitment and manage change.
• Develop and communicate implementation plans, constraints, and business cases.
• Garner governance principles and resolve technical problems (formulation, equipment, product, regulations, resource availability).
• Analyze current situations, identify intervention priorities, and design detailed solutions.
• Monitor implementation and verify that objectives and expected benefits are achieved.

A candidate must be passionate about continuous improvement, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to engage stakeholders at all levels. They should be organized, prioritize effectively, and use analytical skills to synthesize information.
