Nursing Director (RN) – Inpatient Services (Med/Surg)
This role provides leadership and support to the CNO for all nursing and designated patient care services across Med Surg, PCU, and ICU. Responsible for 24/7 operations of assigned units, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care, staff competency, and effective resource management.
Education- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – required
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) – required
- Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of residence/practice
- Licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by state law and hospital policy
- Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting (Manager or Director)
- Must have Med-Surg background or prior Med-Surg experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and hospital operations management experience
- Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession
