Lab Technician

Lab Technician (QC/QA Lab)

Apex Systems is seeking a QC Lab Technician for a local chemical manufacturing client located in Fort Mill, SC.

Position: 3‑6 month contract‑to‑hire; 100% onsite with a 2/2/3 rotating schedule and weekend coverage.

Pay range: $22–$26 per hour.

Location:

Fort Mill, SC.

• Prepare standards and solutions for analysis
• Analyze samples including raw material, in‑process, and final product
• Report results to production and record data
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment
• Prepare COA (Certificate of Analysis) for customer shipments
• Work closely with production, supervisors, and engineers

• 1+ years of lab experience
• High School Diploma (degree in a science field not required but a plus)
• Able to work independently
• Flexible and willing to work overtime when needed
• Good housekeeping ethics
• Good chemical hygiene

• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) and spreadsheets
• Experience with GC (gas chromatography) and LC (liquid chromatography)
• Familiar with Chem Station software
• Wet chemistry (pH, conductivity, titrations—manual and automatic, solids, etc.)
• TOC, VOC, viscosity
• UV‑Vis, IR or ICP experience a plus
• Familiar with ISO 9001 standard
