Field Service Calibration Technician

Overview

• Calibrate metrology equipment to A2LA/ISO
  17025 standards.
• Perform manual and automated calibration and testing processes for a wide variety of electronic, torque, pressure, and mechanical test equipment.
• Update gage tracking software and generate certifications with calibration results.
• Interact with internal and external customers to answer questions and provide calibration information.

• General familiarity with ISO
  9001 and ISO/IEC
  17025 Quality Systems.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Good written and oral communication skills as well as computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team.
• Self-starter, proactive, productive, punctual; eager to learn.
• Willing to travel locally and regionally on-site daily (overnight as needed).
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Preferred Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum two years related experience.
• Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) training.
• CMM calibration and/or repair experience (preferred).
