Fort Mill Unloaders; 2nd Shift

Overview

The team will be unloading boxes out of trailers by hand. You will be working in teams of two to unload 3-4 trailers per day. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of unloading heavy boxes and be familiar with basic unloading protocols and safety guidelines.

• Pick up 50-150 lbs. boxes off a trailer floor and place them onto a wooden pallet.
• When the pallet is complete, apply a top sheet and a light layer of plastic wrap.
• Move the pallet (using a pallet jack) to the side or designated area nearby, then repeat until the trailer is empty. Sweep the trailer and clean the work area.
• Work in teams of 2 unloading 3-4 trailers per shift on average.
• Estimated time per trailer: 2-3 hours (some trailers can take 3-4 hours).
• Each trailer typically contains 160 to 5,000 boxes.

• Paid per trailer (payout per trailer varies based on the quantity of boxes).
• MORE PRODUCT = MORE MONEY!
• The average unloader can make about $400 to $600 per week (estimated based on 30–40 hours).

• Has worked a physically demanding job before
• Has the ability to work and communicate effectively within a team
• Has steel toe or composite toe shoes
• Has reliable transportation and attendance

  Monday-Friday (2:30pm-11:00pm)
