Job Overview: LPL Financial is seeking a strong applicant to join our Corporate Insurance team within Treasury and Capital Markets, one of the most visible areas in Finance. In this role you will provide critical analysis and insights to support informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement in risk management and insurance strategies.

Responsibilities

Policy & Program Management

  • Manage all aspects of the corporate insurance program and various lines of insurance, including policy renewals and broker/insurer relationships.
  • Coordinate development of renewal and underwriting submissions, including gathering insurance policy renewal data across LPL departments.
  • Support Captive Insurance renewals and claims data gathering, analysis, tracking, and reporting.
  • Assist in obtaining optimal coverage and insurance recovery in collaboration with LPL’s insurance broker and insurers.

Vendor & Third-Party Oversight

  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers, including brokers, insurers, underwriters, and administrators.
  • Support development, implementation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures and third-party vendor risk assessments.

Claims Management

  • Coordinate and support the claims management process, including insurer reporting, tracking, and stakeholder updates.
  • Assist LPL Financial Advisors and Attorneys in navigating insurance claim handling functions with LPL’s insurers.

Risk Analysis & Loss Prevention

  • Identify potential risk exposures and recommend solutions or program modifications to support loss prevention.
  • Conduct insurance coverage gap analysis and evaluate effective transfer of risk to third-party insurance coverages.
  • Optimize LPL’s captive insurance company through data analysis and recommendations.

Reporting & Presentations

  • Prepare senior management-level presentations and reporting on insurance decision points, KPIs, dashboards, and strategic initiatives.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations and documentation for renewals and other program-related obligations.

Compliance & Administrative Support

  • Support insurance program due diligence for internal and M&A strategic opportunities.
  • Assist with workers’ compensation insurance audits and renewal functions.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis, financial modeling, and support for insurance-related projects and administrative tasks.

Requirements
  • BA/BS in Finance, Business, Economics, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
