AWS Platform Engineer Lead – Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days/week)

We are seeking an AWS Platform Engineer Lead to drive cloud architecture design and large-scale migration initiatives for enterprise financial platforms. This role will lead modernization across Model Management, Tax Overlay, and Portfolio Accounting, enabling seamless integration across client and enterprise systems.

• Lead AWS cloud migration using AWS Landing Zone and unified platform architecture.
• Design event-driven and API-based integration patterns using Kafka, Camunda, and API Gateways (IBM Data Power, AWS API Gateway, Kong).
• Define solution blueprints for advisory, tax, and portfolio workflows.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align platform architecture with enterprise standards.

• Strong solution architecture experience in financial services.
• Hands-on expertise in AWS, Kafka, Camunda, and API Gateways.
• Experience with Terraform, Helm, Swagger Hub, and data/integration tooling.
• Working knowledge of Angular, .NET, C#, Python, and SQL Server / RDS / Aurora.
• Observability experience with Dynatrace, ELK, Cloud Watch.
