We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Python Data Testing Engineer who specializes in data validation, automation, and programming. This role demands hands‑on experience in Python‑based test automation, data pipeline testing, and cloud‑native data platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of data systems through robust testing strategies.

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python for data pipelines, APIs, and batch processes.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation using advanced SQL queries and Python scripts.
• Test and monitor ETL workflows, ensuring data consistency across systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers to understand data mappings, transformations, and business logic.
• Debug data issues and provide root cause analysis with actionable insights.
• Work with AWS services (Glue, S3, RDS, Dynamo
  
  DB, Lambda) for testing cloud‑based data workflows.
• Build and maintain test frameworks using PyTest, unittest, or custom Python modules.
• Automate testing for REST APIs, Web Services, and data feeds using tools like Postman, Swagger.
• Use Docker/Kubernetes for containerized testing environments.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Team City.
• Apply AI/ML‑based automation techniques to enhance test coverage and observability.
• Use Jira or similar tools to manage test cases, defects, and Agile workflows.

• Strong programming skills in Python, with a focus on test automation and scripting.
• Solid experience in data testing, including SQL and Python‑based data validation.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL testing and cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of API testing and web service validation.
• Exposure to AI tools/models and their integration into testing workflows is a plus.
