Salary Range: $108,000 – $171,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
$20,000 Sign-On Bonus + Relocation Assistance Available
About the RoleEnv accomplished and visionary Director of Nursing (RN) to lead and oversee multiple acute care service lines, including Medical/Surgical, Progressive Care (PCU), Cardiovascular Telemetry, Clinical Observation, Chest Pain Observation, and Dialysis.
This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care, clinical quality, and operational efficiency across assigned departments. The Director will work closely with hospital executives, physicians, and clinical leaders to drive departmental performance, elevate nursing excellence, and foster a collaborative and supportive culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee clinical and administrative operations across multiple acute care units.
Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, and evidence-based nursing care.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, staffing, and operational performance metrics.
Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and service excellence initiatives.
Mentor and develop nurse leaders to promote engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
Collaborate with hospital leadership and medical staff to achieve strategic objectives.
Support service line expansion and community health program development.
What You Bring EducationRequired:
Masters Degree in Nursing or Business Administration (or must obtain within 5 years)
Preferred:
Masters Degree completed
Minimum 3-5 years in a leadership capacity across (Med/Surg, or PCU, or ICU)
Prior management or nursing leadership experience required.
Ideally have experience with new graduate nursing programs.
Great record with retention.
Licensure & CertificationsActive Multi-State RN license (or must obtain within 30 days if relocating from another Compact state)
AHA BLS CPR certification required.
