Surgical Technologist PRN

Overview

Surgical Tech PRN Days. Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedures. Ensures all instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and functioning properly. Assists anesthesiologist when blocks are required for surgery. Participates in department staff meetings and performance improvement activities.

• Minimum Education:
  
  College, military or vocational training required.
• Minimum Experience:
  
  1 to 2 years of job-related experience is preferred.
• Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:
  Certified Surgical Technology recognized by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). BLS required.
