Overview
The Process Engineer is responsible for development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Work Instructions (SWI), identifying and implementing improvement projects, conducting root cause analysis for production and maintenance issues, and collaborating with the operations team on program deliverables. Additionally, you will be involved in equipment evaluation, compliance with standards and legislation, and mentoring and training newer team members.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Work Instructions (SWI).
Identify and implement improvement projects; conduct root cause analysis for production and maintenance issues.
Collaborate with the operations team on program deliverables.
Evaluate equipment and ensure compliance with standards and legislation.
Mentor and train newer team members.
Experience with robotics systems, controls systems, automation, Control Logix PLCs, AutoCAD, machine system implementation, and design of SOPs and processes.
Strong background in root cause analysis, process improvement, and manufacturing/engineering processes.

Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to interact professionally under pressure.
Ability to work with external machine builders and system integrators for design, build, and integration of machine system implementation.

Demonstrated technical project management experience.
Strong logical and methodical reasoning and safety systems design understanding.
Ability to manage multiple issues in a fast-paced environment; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Mill, SC.
The pay range for this position is $80,000.00 – $/hr.
