Now Hiring for an Accounting Clerk in the York County area for a non-profit company. This role supports the organization’s mission-driven work by ensuring accurate financial operations and smooth day‑to‑day accounting processes.
Salary starts at around $40K.
Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will have strong foundational accounting skills and MUST have hands-on Quick Books experience. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in a stable, purpose-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process and record daily financial transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Maintain organized vendor and financial files
- Support grant and budget tracking
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed
- Quick Books experience is REQUIRED
- 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office software
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage confidential information responsibly
