Software Engineer
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing team!
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements, including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems.
- Work individually or as part of a team. Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results. Resolve software problem reports.
- Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provide input to system design, including hardware/software trade offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis from system level to individual components.
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements. Design, code, and modify software to add features; debug and correct defects; integrate software into new or modified systems or environments.
- Develop data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories. Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components. Write or review software and system documentation.
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, consulting with users or systems engineers, and analyzing data usage and workflows; investigate problem areas.
- Coordinate and oversee software development work as appropriate to the project and process being used; design and implement complex algorithms with respect to timing, resources, and interfaces; perform quality control on team products.
- Confer with system and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and understand project limitations, performance requirements, and interfaces. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met.
An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $200K - $300K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, we invest in our employees beyond just compensation.
