Description

Clearance Level: Secret Clearance/ Interim Secret.

• Integration Solutions:
  Develop and implement integration solutions for the JMT project using Kafka and Elastic as the primary data architecture platforms.
• Data Integration:
  Integrate data sources (Service Now, Terminal Cert DB, Modem Cert DB, Baseband Mission Workup, TRS, MRS, UDL) into Confluent (Kafka) and Elastic platforms. Develop Kafka system integrations between Elasticsearch/Logstash and other systems.
• Kafka Integration & Development:
  Develop Kafka system integrations, custom connectors, and work with ksql
  
  DB and Kafka Streams for data processing based on the design solution.
• Kafka Cluster Management:
  Deploy and manage Kafka clusters on Kubernetes in multi-site environments (both on-premise and cloud).
• Software Lifecycle Automation:
  Automate the full software lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment, including production environments.
• Dev Ops Pipelines:
  Design and build application deployment pipelines, including containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker, and automated testing pipelines.

• Data architecture/designer/engineer - Develop Elastic indexes, Data transformations and enrichment.
• Experience working inside Elastic and Confluent.
• Data Automation:
  Experience automating data cleansing, formatting, staging, and transformation processes.
• Text Mining & ELK Stack:
  Proficiency with text mining tools, summarization, search (ELK Stack), entity extraction, training set generation, and anomaly detection.
• CI/CD & Containerization:
  Familiarity with CI/CD techniques for developing and releasing software through containerized pipelines.
• BI Tools & Search Analytics:
  Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Kibana, Splunk) and experience with developing search and analytics applications.
• Big Data Technologies:
  Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Kafka, ksql, NiFi, Apache Spark, Service Now.
• Elastic Engineer Certification:
  Certified Elastic Engineer with experience developing logstash and ingest pipelines.
• Experience developing in Confluent ksql and kstreams for data ETL purposes.
• Kubernetes Expertise:
  Familiarity with Kubernetes and deployment of containers.
• Agile Processes:
  Experience with Agile methodologies and related tools.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Meade, MD.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
