Senior Software Engineer

Triaplex, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of VTG, is looking for an experienced and adaptive Software Engineer to join our team. This position will support a mission‑focused customer deploying cutting‑edge systems.

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Debug existing software and correct defects using a variety of programming languages (Examples: Java, Python, Rust, C++)
• Create and maintain a scalable, high‑availability mission system using modern system design principles.
• Create Docker containers and/or Kubernetes pods and clusters.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes of design.
• Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
• Generate automation scripts as appropriate to improve workflow and efficiency.

• TS/SCI with Poly required
• Bachelor's degree or four years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree

• 15+ years of Software Engineer experience
• 10+ years using:
  JavaScript, Type Script, React, Java, Spring Framework

• Docker
• Kubernetes
• RabbitMQ
• Tomcat Admin
