Position OverviewWe are seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our intel team. In this role you will implement new JBlocks capabilities to support expanding data labeling requirements, developing, testing, and enhancing complex software systems.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real‑time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
- Work individually or as part of a team, reviewing and testing software components to ensure adherence to design requirements and documenting test results.
- Resolve software problem reports and contribute to system design, including hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, and use of COTS/GOTS components.
- Analyze and synthesize requirements from system level to individual software components.
- TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Associate’s or higher degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related field (or 7+ years of experience substituting for a degree)
- Proficient in Java development
- Understanding of unit and integration testing
- Familiarity with PKI and REST services
- Ability to evaluate user issues, create and document reproducible tests in development environments
- Experience debugging code within an IDE as a containerized service
- Linux experience
- Experience with Git Lab, CI/CD and build pipelines
- Hands‑on experience using Docker to create containers for existing software capabilities
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
- Experience performing development in the eVo environment, including familiarity with tools such as Grey Box.
- Perform software life‑cycle activities to ensure the highest level of system performance, availability, and compliance with business requirements.
- Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring application security and integrity.
- Knowledge of EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO, and CUI standards.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts.
- Ability to write technical documentation including wiki sites, blogs, XML/HTML.
- Strong organization and time‑management skills, including the ability to multi‑task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlines.

Salary Range: $70,000 to $190,000
