ResponsibilitiesPeraton is hiring a Lead Associate Software Engineer (SWE) to support the government's Processing and Analytic Capabilities Office initiatives, including a large High Performance Computing (HPC)-related program. These programs are cutting edge and involve HPC test planning and execution, architecture design, prototyping, and vendor outreach and collaboration support.
The SWE will develop use cases, gather requirements, and produce documentation to support architecture development, design, testing, and software documentation at the component level. They will collaborate with government leadership at cryptologic centers and provide recommendations regarding software capabilities.
Preferred skills and experience include:
- Database experience with relational (SQL) and graph databases; experience with APIs interfacing with databases
- Python development
- Use Case Development and Requirements Documentation
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
- Education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 7 years of software engineering experience, OR
- High School Diploma or GED plus 11 years of software engineering experience

Salary Range$104,000 - $166,000, depending on experience and other factors.
