Position Summary

Seeking multiple hardworking and reliable Laborers to support the bricklaying team. This project is short duration and is expected to end around April 2026. Laborers will prepare the job site, handle materials, and assist bricklayers to ensure the safe and efficient completion of the project.

• Site Preparation:
  Set up and take down scaffolding, ladders, and work platforms according to OSHA safety standards.
• Material Handling:
  Load, unload, and transport bricks, cinder blocks, mortar, stone, and other materials.
• Assist Skilled Laborers as needed.
• Hand & Power Tools:
  Use measuring tools, small hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Mortar Preparation:
  Mix mortar and grout to the correct consistency using mechanical mixers or hand tools.
• Tool Maintenance:
  Clean and maintain masonry tools (e.g., trowels, joins, saws) and equipment (e.g., mixers, wheelbarrows) at the end of each shift.
• Bracing & Cutting:
  Assist in cutting bricks or stones to size using power saws or hammers and help install bracing to support fresh masonry.
• Site Safety:
  Maintain a clean and hazard-free job site by removing debris and organizing materials to prevent accidents. Wear and maintain required PPE. Report hazards or unsafe conditions to the Foreman.
• Perform duties as assigned.

• No previous experience required.
• Valid unexpired state identification or driver s license.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have a clean background to obtain a badge to access the jobsite.
• Reliable transportation to work as scheduled.
• Displays a positive attitude and able to follow directions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and construction industry standards.

• Bilingual speaker proficient in English and Spanish
• Experience with construction equipment and masonry tools
• Knowledge of commercial masonry operations and materials
• Familiarity with concrete mixer operations and maintenance

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to climb on equipment and scaffolding
• Must be willing and able to work in various weather conditions
