The Role Peraton is seeking an experienced Information Operations (IO) Planner to integrate Information Related Capabilities (IRC), functions and tasks into all facets of U.S. CYBERCOM's level planning, and to ensure the command group and staff consider all IRCs in the decision-making process.
Location:
Fort Meade, MD As our IO Planner, you will have the opportunity to:
* Provide expert mission analysis, analytical problem-solving, and assessment skills.
* Creatively leverage all information systems and information-related capabilities (IRCs) to integrate interagency and Intelligence Community (IC) inputs.
* Develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the cyber and electromagnetic spectrum.
* Consider key cultural factors that influence operational and tactical planning, security, and risk assessments.
* Review, analyze, and operationalize tactical- and operational-level IO-related directives to support maneuver elements.
* Serve as a subject matter expert on operations in the information environment-applying technical skills to planning and execution, identifying and tracking measures of performance (MOPs) and measures of effectiveness (MOEs), and advising on the application of IRC capabilities in operational concept development.
* Apply working knowledge of MISO/IO, MILDEC, OPSEC, EW, and cyberspace operations to support operations.
* Understand how to integrate joint warfare capabilities.
* Synchronize activities of shared interest.
* Support IO-related competencies for USCYBERCOM planners.
* Demonstrate expert-level oral, visual, and written communication and briefing skills-effectively advising, negotiating, and persuading managers, military officials, and senior leaders, and gaining acceptance for recommended concepts, ideas, guidance, policies, and regulations.
#OPIAS Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA degree; or minimum of 6 years with an MS/MA degree. An additional 4 years of related experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.
* 5+ years of experience with IO planning at the service or joint level in support of operations at Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces.
* IO (FA30) career field.
* Knowledge in joint operational planning process, military decision-making process, and military campaign plan planning, targeting processes and expertise in developing and accessing tactical and operational level MISO/PSYOP plans and orders.
* Knowledge of service departments (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force) functions and their relationships to the CCMD to coordinate all operations in the information environment in appropriate channels, e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint with
Experience with joint and/or combined military operations and interagency coordination and DoD, joint, and Army service doctrine, regulations, and policies.
* U.S. citizenship required.
* Must possess a current U.S. Passport with at least a year remaining before expiration.
* An active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. Must be able to obtain a polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Recent joint or service level information operations planning experience.
* Joint cyber operations planners' course.
* Joint information operations planner course.
* Defense OPSEC planner course.
* Special warfare advanced targeting and analysis course.
* Special operations MILDEC planners' course.
* Irregular warfare course.
* Capable of recommending changes to policy, force structure and design, and command relationships.
* Proficient in integrating IRC capabilities into cyber plans and operations.
* Knowledge of military command relationships and command and control (C2) procedures.
