MANTECHseeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team located in the Fort Meade, MD area.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administration and support for multi-platform operating system environments.
- Manage and maintain virtualized environments and enterprise-level virtualization management tools.
- Configure and maintain host-based security and intrusion detection systems.
- Configure and maintain enterprise storage solutions and associated file system architectures.
- Develop and deliver technical documentation and program briefings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 10+ years of relevant Systems Administration experience; or an Associate's degree with 15+ years’ experience.
- 10+ years of experience in systems administration of software and hardware supporting IT system development and testing.
- Experience in a Linux environment.
- 2+ years of experience in Splunk administration.
- Experience utilizing Ansible or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Proficiency with scripting languages including Python, Bash, or Perl.
- Familiarity with enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware or similar) and associated Storage Area Networks (SAN).
- Experience with Dev Ops tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Salt Stack, or Puppet.
- Experience with NiFi or cross-domain solutions.
- Knowledge of network devices (routers, switches, gateways) and protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, and DNS.
- Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.
The projected compensation range for this position is $-$. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
